MUSCAT : Indian School Sur celebrated a momentous occasion on March 7th, 2024, as it joyfully bid farewell to its UKG students from the academic year 2023-2024 during the Kindergarten Graduation Day celebration. This ceremony, brimming with joy, pride, and nostalgia, marked the conclusion of a pivotal chapter in the lives of these young learners.



The esteemed Chief Guest, Mrs. Yusra Al Khilani, President of the Omani Women Association Sur, and the Guest of Honour, Mrs. Intisar, Service Manager at Bank Muscat, Sur, along with School Management President Mr. Jami Srinivas Rao, Mrs. Nishreen Basheer, Member of SMC, and Principal Dr. S Srinivasan graced the occasion, inspiring the young graduates with their words of wisdom and encouragement.

Principal Dr. S. Srinivasan commended the teachers for their dedication in nurturing the students, and congratulated the graduates, offering sincere wishes for a bright future. He emphasized the transformative impact of quality education in fostering growth and excellence.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome speech by Miss Nivedha of UKG B, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom.
The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as LKG students performed the popular “Baby Shark” action song, showcasing their energy. Mrs. Nusrath Shoukath, KG & Primary in charge, delivered an inspiring address, stressing the importance of laying a strong foundation for the students’ academic journey.
The entertainment continued with captivating performances, including a mash-up dance by UKG students and action songs by LKG and UKG students. Emotions ran high during the graduation ceremony for UKG A, as parents witnessed their children receive certificates and accolades.
A special moment honored Mrs. Yusra Al Khilani for her exemplary contribution to society, followed by a captivating dance performance by Class 2, welcoming the students to their next academic phase.
