MUSCAT: The Ministry of Education on Saturday said it is closely following the current weather condition in coordination with the National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) and would take an appropriate decision based on the weather monitoring system.
In a statement issued, the Ministry said: “We are concerned for the safety of our students, and we will take the appropriate decision based on the weather updates.”
The statement from the Ministry comes after the Ministry of Higher Education and Ministry of Social Development suspended classes for colleges and nurseries.
