MUSCAT : Chaired by Dr Mohammed Nassir Al Za’abi, Secretary General at the Ministry of Defence for Oman, and Daniel Shapiro, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East from the US, the meeting commenced with discussions on a range of agenda items aimed at enhancing collaboration in various strategic areas.
Among the attendees were senior officers representing the Ministry of Defence and the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) of Oman, the US ambassador-designate to Oman and several American officials.
