Muscat – Opened under the patronage of H.H. Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, the station will contribute to enhancing the development requirements in the wilayats of Shalim and the Halaniyat Islands by meeting the community’s water needs, especially the residents of the areas of Haqqa, Zakher, Ajarit and the surrounding areas.
The station will provide water services in the state instead of transporting water by tankers over long distances, in addition to improving the quality of water and delivering it in a more efficient way. Efficiency
The project is funded by the Petroleum Development of Oman, in coordination with the Office of the Governor of Dhofar, as part of the social responsibility programs provided by PDO to improve social, economic and development projects that support community development throughout the Sultanate of Oman.
