Muscat – The 36th GCC Traffic Week got underway in Oman with the formal opening of the traffic awareness exhibition at the Mall of Oman, under the auspices of H.E. Eng. Khamis bin Mohammed Al Shamakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Transport, and in the presence of a number of officers of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, the Royal Oman Police and concerned government and private agencies.


The exhibition features interactive screens, awareness publications, and models of devices and applications used in traffic safety; it highlights traffic statistics and awareness efforts of traffic safety institutes in all governorates.
