Oman’s Ministry of Education unveils exciting agendas for March 2024

Muscat: March 3rd and 4th will witness the prestigious Gulf Robot Olympiad, where budding innovators will showcase their prowess in robotics, highlighting Oman’s commitment to nurturing STEM talents. Concurrently, the Ministry will launch a strategy to bolster support for educational initiatives, laying the groundwork for future endeavours to advance educational standards nationwide.

On March 2nd, Oman will join the global community in celebrating World Talent Day 2024, recognizing and honouring exceptional talents across various fields. This will be followed by Cyber Security Day on March 5th, emphasizing the importance of digital safety and awareness in an increasingly connected world.

From March 4th to 7th, the Oman Challenge Program will provide male and female students a platform to demonstrate their skills and abilities. Additionally, a symposium on educational outcomes and strategic implications will take place, shedding light on the evolving landscape of education and its impact on future generations.

March 3rd to 7th will be dedicated to the National Science, Mathematics, Technology, and Engineering Week, offering immersive learning experiences.

Towards the end of the month, on March 31st, a lecture titled “The Educational Endowment in Oman: A Cultural Heritage and Future Vision”.

On March 6th, the Ministry will launch the Geography and Modern Technology Initiative. Moreover, the month will witness the inauguration of new schools in Seeb, Salalah, and Barka, expanding access to quality education in these regions.
