Muscat governorate lists residential areas approved for commercial activities

The Muscat Governorate Municipal Council has listed residential streets in various wilayats of the governorate that have been approved for commercial activities

Muscat – Following the Administrative Resolution No. 125/2023, regulating residential buildings for commercial purposes, the Muscat Governorate Municipal Council has approved the following residential streets for commercial activities in Muscat Governorate:
Seeb

  1. Mazoon Street
  2. Al Barakat Street
    3- Al Suroor Street
  3. The street connecting Al Jamea Roundabout to Al Izdihar Roundabout in Al Mawaleh South
  4. The street that starts from Al Izdihar Roundabout to the intersection with Al Tameer Street in Al Mawaleh South
  5. The street connecting Al Ishraq Roundabout to Al Rawda Roundabout in Al Hail North
  6. The street connecting Al Nuzha Roundabout to Al Nour Roundabout, all the way to the First Industrial Roundabout
    Baushar
  7. Al Azaiba North Street
  8. November 18 Street
  9. Al Dhiyafa Street to Al Sifa Street junction
  10. College Street in Al Khuwair
  11. Al Khuwair South Street
  12. Al inshirah Street depends to Al Bait Mosque
  13. Al Kharjiyah Street
    Muscat
    Each request is considered individually.

  14. Seih Al Dhabi Street
  15. Hattat Wadi Street
    Quriyat
  16. Main street towards Quriyat Fort
  17. Daghmar Street from the Quriyat roundabout to Daghmar Al Hajar
  18. Hail Al Ghaf Street from Oman Oil Station to Sharia
  19. Coast Street from the port to the island on the coast
  20. Misfah Street from the entrance to Al Mazaree’ until Misfah.
  21. Main street from Dibab to Fins
    Mutrah
    Al Nahdha Street (from Al Wattayah to Wadi Adai Bridge)
    As per the Resolution (No. 125/2023) regarding the organization of residential buildings for commercial purposes in Muscat Governorate, it is allowed to practice some commercial activities in residential buildings on approved streets in accordance with certain requirements, and to ensure the regulatory aspects of residential neighborhoods of these activities and their characteristics.
