Muscat: Oman’s budget airline SalamAir will begin operations to Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka next month, its CEO Captain Mohamed Ahmed said.
Starting from November 15, SalamAir will fly three weekly flights to Saudi Arabia’s Dammam and four weekly flights to Sri Lankan capital Colombo from November 24.
Early this week the airline announced its plan to start direct flight operations to Bahrain next month. SalamAir will fly three-times a week while it also plans to double its flight frequencies to UAE soon.

Last week at an aviation conference, Captain Mohammed indicated that the low-cost carrier is close to breaking even this year and could turn a profit in 2020.
