DOHA: Defending champions Oman will face Iraq in the opening game of the 24thedition of Gulf Cup scheduled to take place in Qatar from November 27 to December 9.
The official draw for the prestigious tournament was held at Marsa Malaz Kempinski Hotel in Doha on Wednesday.
Five teams will play in the tournament, however, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain have withdrawn from the championship.
Two matches will be played on the first day – Oman plays Iraq in the first match and Qatar plays Yemen in the second game.

The draw was held in the presence of representatives of the participating teams which are Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, and Yemen
