MUSCAT: Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be honoured at the eleventh edition of Muscat International Film Festival scheduled to be held from March 3-7, 2024.
The 58-year-old actor, have appeared in more than 80 films in a career spanning more than 30 years.
Announcing the details of the popular festival, the organisers said Director Satara from Iran, Nelly Karim from Egypt, Hoda Hussein from Kuwait, Omar Abdullah Habib, Mohammed Al Kindi, Buthainah Al Raisi, Taghlub Al Barwani and Khalil Al Sinani from Oman along with Director Yaqoob Al Maqlah from Bahrain and Director Mohammed Bakri from Palestine will also be honoured.

Competitions will also be held for fiction films, the documentary films, the Omani short fiction films, the Omani documentary films among others. The festival will be accompanied by several events including seminars, workshops and the Festival’s Souq (Market) which is a corner for production companies.
The festival will also include the “Festival Market”, which is a corner for institutions, production companies and artistic platforms with the aim of bringing together those interested in the cinematic industry under one roof through local and international cooperation in the government and private cinematic production sector and the exchange of experiences and promotional offers for cinematic production and artistic capabilities.
