Muscat – Scheduled from January 15 to 21, this monumental event will feature eight international teams vying for three coveted spots in the Olympics. Additionally, the stadium will set the stage for the prestigious “Oman 2024” Hockey World Cup from January 24 to 31.

Comprising two stadiums adhering to international standards and complemented by auxiliary facilities like training grounds, offices, medical facilities, VIP areas, and spectator stands capable of accommodating over 5,000 attendees, this cutting-edge complex was meticulously constructed to meet international hockey federation criteria and aligns with Oman’s evolving sporting landscape.
His Excellency Basil bin Ahmed Al Rawas, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for Sports and Youth, underscored the stadium’s transformative role in bolstering Omani hockey at regional and global levels. He lauded the project’s swift completion in just five months and highlighted its strategic significance in hosting top-tier events.

Emphasizing the stadium’s pivotal role in nurturing talent, Dr. Marwan Al Juma, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Hockey Association, hailed it as a groundbreaking initiative set to revolutionize the national hockey scene.
