ABU DHABI: Oman beat China 2-0 in a friendly at Baniyas Stadium in Abu Dhabi as part of the Red Warriors’ preparation for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 which will kick off on January 12 in Doha.
The match played on Friday saw Arshad Al Alawi scoring the first goal in 49 minutes and Mohsen Al-Ghassani scoring the second in the 65th minute.
Oman will have another warm-up match against the UAE which is scheduled on January 6, 2024 at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
