MUSCAT : The high-octane cricket tournament at the Oman Cricket Turf1 witnessed nine dynamic teams battling it out on December 14th, 15th, and 16th amidst an exciting atmosphere.

Crowe Oman’s emphatic victory marked their second title win, having previously clinched the championship in 2019. The grand event saw the presence of esteemed personalities, including Davis Kallukaran from Crowe Oman, Bipin Kapur of BDO, and luminaries from EY, GT, KPMG, Moore, Deloitte, Al Nuha International, and PwC, alongside Alkesh Joshi, Board Member and Treasurer of Oman Cricket Association, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Opting to chase, Crowe Oman displayed exceptional prowess on the field, limiting BDO to 46 runs in 6 overs, with Captain Abu Hashim leading the charge with 20 runs. Crowe Oman swiftly achieved the target in just 4.5 overs in a stellar batting performance, losing only 2 wickets. Rehan Sharif’s explosive 26 runs in 12 balls and Ivan Manjila’s contribution of 14 runs in 11 balls were instrumental in securing victory, with Sharif bagging the Man of the Match award.

The tournament also recognized standout performances, with Eldo Babu from Al Nuha International securing the Player of the Tournament title, Kushal from Crowe Oman earning the Best Bowler award, and Ivan Manjila from Crowe Oman recognized as the Best Batsman. Jawaid from KPMG stood out as the Best Wicketkeeper, Nasir from BDO took the accolade for the Best Catch, and Deloitte claimed the title for the Best Dressed Team.

Beyond the enthralling cricket action, the event’s highlights encompassed a vibrant ambience curated by the JazzSports Organizing Team, pulsating music by DJ Sash, and a delectable feast served by Beyond Kitchen, adding zest to the three-day extravaganza.
