MUSCAT : Al-Maamari highlighted that the extensive maintenance endeavours along the route are anticipated to conclude by the end of December, paving the way for its reopening. He noted the completion of fundamental reconstruction, with additional refurbishments ongoing, encompassing resurfacing, barrier restoration, and other essential enhancements.
Al-Maamari disclosed that the renovation initiative stemmed from the soil collapse at one of the vulnerable curves due to adverse rainfall effects.
