MUSCAT : In an ode to creativity and talent, The Arabian Stories’ ‘Tribute to the Nation’ initiative recently transformed Muscat Grand Mall into a stunning canvas, and with the anticipation building, the winners have been picked. Themed ‘Oman – The Land of Peace,’ presented by The Arabian Stories in collaboration with Oman Oasis and Shah Nagardas, this spectacular event blossomed into a breathtaking showcase of young artists’ talents.

Over 400 budding artists spanning diverse grades and schools poured their hearts into the competition, captivating onlookers with vibrant strokes and imaginative interpretations. Families, educators, and art enthusiasts gathered to witness the emergence of talent as these young artists portrayed Oman’s tranquillity through their unique lenses.

An esteemed panel of artists and art professionals with an eagle eye for artistic brilliance meticulously evaluated the entries, ensuring fair judgment and expert assessment.

The Winners’ Roster:

Category 1 (Colour Pencil) – Grades 3-5:

1st Prize: Asmita Talukder – Indian School Muscat (Grade 5)
2nd Prize: Asmita Mondal – Indian School Muscat (Grade 5)
3rd Prize: Younus Hami – Sri Lankan School Muscat (Grade 5)

Category 2 (Acrylic Painting) – Grades 6-9:

1st Prize: Aayath Khanum – Indian School Ghubra International (Grade 8)
2nd Prize: Geethika Rajith – Indian School Al Seeb (Grade 8)
3rd Prize: K. S. Aadi Srikeshav – Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir (Grade 7)

Category 3 (Oil Pastels) – Grades 10-12:

1st Prize: Jessica Eugene Francis – Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir (Grade 11)
2nd Prize: Hamiyat Aziz – Beaconhouse School Oman (Grade 12)
3rd Prize: RONSY DSOUZA – Indian School Bousher (Grade 11)
