Muscat: Oman Society for Human Resources Management (OSHRM) is all set to organise its fifth annual conference on the theme “HR, heart of business” from December 10 to 12 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) in coordination with Nama Holding Group.
The annual convention according experts will bring leading experts who will share their thoughts and insights on the latest topics affecting the HR sector today.
Speaking at a press conference held at Crowne Plaza at OCEC on Thursday, Dr. Ghalib Said Al Hosni, President of OSHRM said the conference will give a platform to discuss where human resource is heading in the future. “Participants are certain to get a peek into next generation HR strategies that will help them keep pace with changing workplace,” Al Hosni noted.

With the huge success of its preceding four conferences, OSHRM, has been able to engage and inspire the HR community in Oman and the region. Last year, more than 600 delegates attended the event.
Ali Moosa Al Abri, OSHRM board member and conference director said: We feel it is important for HR professionals to debate and share strategies for how HR can adapt to pace with new realities. Meanwhile, during the sidelines of the conference, OSHRM will also host the HR awards for the first time. “In fact this is the first HR awards to be ever hosted in Oman. It will motivate HR professionals working in various sectors to improve business,” said Al Abri.
