Muscat – According to media reports, the Indian passenger, identified as K Dhanasekaran from Ilayankudi, Sivaganga district in Chennai, passed away in a case of suspected cardiac arrest.
He was employed in Muscat and was travelling home for vacation, stated online reports.

The cabin crew found him after the flight landed at Chennai International Airport on Sunday, September 10. Dhanasekaran had remained seated even after all other passengers had disembarked from the aircraft; the cabin crew thought he was asleep. It was only when they attempted to wake him up that they found him to be in a state of unconsciousness and alerted ground authorities to the situation.

The airport medical team transported him to the emergency medical centre to assess his vital signs, before declaring him dead.
