Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority has issued a statement saying that the renovation of the southern runway and taxiways at Muscat International Airport are nearing completion. The asphalt work of the runway is complete and the runway lights are being installed before the final checks, the statement further adds.
The southern runway is scheduled to open in October this year.
