Fines of up to OMR 3000 for unlicensed hotel, tourism facilities

Oman Public Prosecution has issued an alert to warn hotel, tourism facilities that are operating without the requisite permit from the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism.

MUSCAT : “Occupying, utilizing and exploiting or disposing a tourism area or site, or establishing, exploiting or managing a hotel or tourism facility without a permit from the Ministry of heritage and Tourism are all deemed offenses,” stated the alert from Public Prosecution.


It warned offenders of fines ranging up to OMR 3000.
