MUSCAT: The newly appointed Board of Directors of national airline Oman Air have extensive global experience in the aviation sector collectively exceeding 85 years.
On Saturday evening, in an extraordinary general assembly presided over by His Excellency Eng. Saeed Al Mawaali, Chairman of BOD dissolved both the board members of Oman Air and Oman Airports and elected new members.
“The company’s Board of Directors also held a meeting on Saturday 19 August 2023 to approve the new organisational structure of the company and the implementation steps of the transformation programme,” Oman Air said in the statement.

“His Excellency Eng. Saeed Al Mawali emphasised the need for collaborative efforts in the coming period to enhance the company’s capabilities in line with the government directives that focus on maximising investment returns and achieving financial sustainability for Oman Air,” the statement added.
