Muscat: The Traffic Division of the Royal Oman Police has issued a regulation regarding merging traffic from a side to a main road, or from an unpaved road to a paved road. According to the regulation, a car trying to enter a main road or a paved road from an unpaved road must first make sure the oncoming vehicles on the main road have passed, and make no attempts to merge unless the main road is clear.
