Muscat: The Ministry of Education (MOE) has announced that schools in South Sharqiyah and Al Wusta governorates will be suspended for three days due to Cyclone Hikaa.
In a statement issues on Tuesday, said it has decided to suspend classes in all government and private schools from September 24 to 26.

“After coordination with the National Civil Defense Committee and the National Center for Early Warning of Multiple Threats, the Ministry of Education decided to suspend classes in all public and private schools in Al Sharqiya South and Al Wusta Governorates starting Tuesday afternoon, 24/9/2019 until Thursday evening, 26/9/2019,” the statement added.
