MUSCAT : The insurance sector has become one of the fastest growing sectors in Oman as premiums recorded a growth rate of 13% in 2022 and the total direct premiums for the insurance sector increased by 12.8 percent, to reach OMR 541.3 million. The contribution of the insurance sector to Oman’s GDP has reached 1.23%.
