MUSCAT – According to the weather forecast shared by Oman Meteorology, the coastal areas of Dhofar Governorates and adjoining mountains will experience partly cloudy skies with chances of intermittent drizzle, along with chances of sporadic rain accompanied by thundershowers and downdrafts.
The CAA also predicts high and medium cloud advection over most of the governorates with a chance of cloud development, isolated rain, and thundershowers, accompanied with downdrafts, over the Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining areas. The weather may extend to desert areas of Al Dakhylia, Al Dhahira, and Al Wusta Governorates. There are also chances of sandstorms in the desert and open areas.
