MUSCAT – The court found the establishment’s representatives guilty of failing to provide the agreed-upon service to a customer who had paid the contract value in full. The court ordered the representatives to serve imprisonment and pay fines for their actions, after the customer filed a claim with the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA).

“The court ordered the guilty parties to pay a fine of OMR 500 and further ordered one of them to serve a three-month prison sentence. Additionally, the company was directed to return the payment of OMR 2000 to the customer, along with OMR 300 as compensation for the delay.
