MUSCAT – The road shows will be held in four major Indian cities – Delhi, Jaipur, Calcutta and Mumbai – from July 24 to 31, 2023.

The campaign aims to strengthen the existing relations between Oman and India, highlight the historical legacy of Oman’s rich heritage, its scenic tourism potential, and promote attractive destinations and diverse experiences that make Oman a unique and unforgettable destination. Participants from the tourism sector partners in India will have the opportunity to engage with their counterparts in the Omani tourism sector, including hotels, tour operators, airlines and representatives of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, to learn about the various travel experiences available in Oman – ranging from its stunning coast, majestic mountains and vast deserts to its vibrant markets, ancient castles and forts, captivating cultural traditions and the hospitality of the Omani people.

The road shows will also include presentations, interactive sessions and one-on-one meetings, creating an ideal platform for Indian tourism companies to strengthen existing relationships, and forge new business partnerships and collaborations with their Omani counterparts. The Ministry seeks, through the establishment of promotional campaigns, to enter and be present in the target markets, to establish direct relations with them, to get acquainted with their features and requirements closely, to acquaint travel and tourism companies and the media within these markets with the elements of Omani tourism.
