MUSCAT : An individual from a GCC country was arrested for drifting on the “green surfaces” in Dhofar after his video went viral on social media.

The man was seen drifting the car on the green surface. In a statement issued, the Environment Authority of Oman (EA) said Royal Oman Police arrested the person on Monday. “He drifted through the green areas in Dhofar Governorate in a way that affected the safety of individuals, wildlife and vegetation, and distorted the local environment,” EA said.

Or it would lead to desertification or distortion of the natural environment.
