MUSCAT : The Medal was granted in appreciation of his efforts and contributions in promoting cultural cooperation between the National Museum and the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, and for his role in civilizational promotion between the Sultanate of Oman and Russia.
The medal was handed over by H.E. Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court, in the presence of H.E. Jamal bin Hassan Al Musawi, Secretary-General of the National Museum, and H.E. the Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of the Russian Federation to the Sultanate of Oman.
