MUSCAT– 10% of motorists who use their phones while driving tend to move out of the designated lanes, stated a ROP announcement. “The reaction speed of a young man who uses the phone while driving is like the reaction speed of a seventy-year-old person,” cautioned ROP, calling motorists to “Be proactive and put the phone down while driving”. “The percentage of exposure to a traffic accident when using a phone while driving is 23%,” it warned.
