MUSCAT: The lists, announced on Sunday, are available for public viewing through the Intikhab application and the official elections website, elections.om. The ministry said 21,221 new voters registered during the current registration period.
Voters can access the preliminary lists through the application by selecting their governorate, followed by their wilayat, to view the list of registered voters for that area.
The lists can also be accessed through elections.om by selecting the relevant governorate and wilayat. Users can then click on the voter icon to view the preliminary voter list for their selected wilayat.
The ministry has also invited interested parties to raise objections to names included in the preliminary voter lists. Objections can be submitted through the website within five days from the date of announcement.
Those submitting objections must specify the reasons for their objection and attach relevant supporting documents, the ministry said.
