MUSCAT: Oman’s Financial Services Authority has revoked Thara Global Business LLC’s securities sector licence after the company failed to meet minimum capital and shareholders’ equity requirements, the regulator said.
The company was also removed from the register of firms operating in the securities sector under Administrative Sanction Decision No. 2026/13.
The authority said Thara Global Business failed to bring its financial position into compliance within the grace period granted to it.

The regulator had suspended the company’s licence for three months on February 10, 2026, giving it time to meet the requirements stipulated in the Executive Regulations of the Capital Market Law. The company’s failure to comply during that period led to the revocation, it said.
The decision was based on Article 125 of those regulations and Article 58(i) of the Securities Law, according to the authority.
The FSA said securities firms must maintain compliance with licensing and financial solvency requirements to support sound operations and confidence in the capital market. It added that it would continue taking regulatory action to enforce compliance across the sector.
