MUSCAT : The Consumer Protection Department in Barka has seized 25,723 goods and materials that were being stored and traded at an unlicensed site in the wilayat.
According to the Consumer Protection Authority, the operation was carried out as part of its continuing regulatory efforts to monitor markets, ensure the safety of products in circulation and verify compliance with approved specifications and requirements.
The authority said all products found to be non-compliant were seized, while the necessary legal measures were initiated against the establishment.
