MUSCAT: According to data from the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI), vehicle ownership recorded the strongest growth among the three categories of assets tracked, ahead of housing units and land.
The number of Omani women owning one or more housing units rose to 75,611 in 2025, up from 73,151 in 2024, representing an increase of about 3 percent.
Land ownership also increased during the year, with 313,732 Omani women owning one or more plots in 2025, compared with 308,463 in 2024, an increase of about 2 percent.
Women who owned one or more plots of land accounted for around 21 percent of the total Omani female population, while those owning housing units represented about 5 percent.
