MUSCAT : The municipality said the way residential properties are used can affect surrounding neighbourhoods and the wider community, stressing the importance of preserving the residential character of neighbourhoods and the privacy of their residents.
In an awareness message, the municipality said housing responsibilities extend beyond the boundaries of an individual property and urged owners to consider the impact of their properties on the surrounding community.
The awareness campaign featured footage of well-maintained Omani residential streets, traditional homes, greenery and community settings, highlighting the importance of maintaining the character of residential areas.
