TOKYO: Japan’s benchmark Nikkei 225 was little changed, slipping 0.1 percent to 66,333.53 points.
South Korea’s Kospi declined 2.3 percent to 61,916.30 points, while China’s Shanghai Composite Index fell 1.7 percent to 3,820.82 points.
Elsewhere, Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 gained 0.3 percent to 8,688.60 points, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index rose 0.7 percent to 24,684.09 points.
