MUSCAT : Renaissance Services strengthened its long-standing partnership with the Environment Society of Oman (ESO) by serving as the main sponsor of Strides for Nature 2026 held at Al Mouj Muscat on September 19. ESO’s annual charity fun run supports and raises funds for environmental conservation in Oman.
Renaissance employees had taken part in the inaugural Strides for Nature event at Qurum Beach earlier in 2025. This year, the company expanded its support by becoming the event’s main sponsor, with around 75 Renaissance employees joining the charity fun run.
Speaking at the event, Andrew Dawson, CEO, Renaissance Services, said, “Oman’s natural environment is one of our greatest assets, and protecting it is a shared responsibility. This belief has shaped Renaissance’s long-standing partnership with the Environment Society of Oman. We are pleased to support Strides for Nature 2026 as part of our continued commitment to environmental conservation.

“Over the years, Renaissance has supported a range of ESO initiatives, including research and capacity-building programmes that have created opportunities for young Omanis. This initiative is a wonderful way to bring the wider community into these conservation efforts and encourage everyone to play a part in protecting Oman’s natural heritage.”
Held in collaboration with Guinness World Record holder Fahad Al Abri, the family-focused event brought together participants of all ages to raise funds for ESO’s conservation programmes. Funds raised through Strides for Nature will support ESO’s work across conservation, environmental education and community engagement.
In keeping with the event’s environmental focus, water refill stations were provided and participants were encouraged to use reusable bottles.
