Muscat: According to data released by Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Hamra Al Drooa recorded the country’s highest temperature at 45.3°C on Saturday, September 19, highlighting the persistence of intense heat across several parts of the Sultanate.
Dima Wattayeen followed at 44.5°C, while As Sunainah registered 44.3°C and Samail recorded 44.2°C. Fahud and Bahla saw highs of 43.9°C and 43.8°C, respectively.
Elsewhere, Ibri recorded 43.2°C, Al Buraimi reached 43°C, Sur registered 42.9°C, while Al Rustaq and Al Awabi recorded 42.7°C and 42.5°C, respectively.

The readings, taken from meteorological stations operated by the Civil Aviation Authority, show that high temperatures remain firmly in place across several parts of Oman as September progresses.
