MUSCAT : The development, being undertaken in partnership with Omran Group, will make VA Group the first international developer to deliver a phase of the masterplan, marking a significant step in the ongoing transformation of one of Oman’s most prominent waterfront districts.
The project will span approximately 18.5 hectares, or the equivalent of around 23 football fields. Plans call for an integrated destination featuring premium residential properties alongside public spaces, a waterfront promenade, landscaped parks, sports and leisure amenities, as well as retail and cultural offerings.
VA Group said the development has been conceived to complement Muttrah’s distinctive historical and cultural character while introducing contemporary lifestyle and tourism experiences to the area.
The project is expected to contribute to the wider regeneration of Muttrah and support the growth of Oman’s tourism sector by creating new spaces for residents and visitors along Muscat’s waterfront.
