MUSCAT : Burjeel Holdings has been named ‘Outstanding Healthcare Group’ at the fifth TAS Oman Business Awards, recognising the healthcare group’s commitment to clinical excellence, specialised medical care and continued investment in advanced healthcare services.

Founded in Abu Dhabi in 2007, Burjeel Holdings has developed an integrated healthcare ecosystem spanning primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary care. The group currently operates across the UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

In Oman, Burjeel Holdings has established a healthcare presence across Oman.

The group has placed particular emphasis on complex and super-specialised medicine, supported by investments in medical professionals, technology and healthcare infrastructure. Its capabilities across the wider network include oncology, orthopaedics and spine care, advanced women’s health, paediatrics and neonatology, organ transplantation and rehabilitation.

Across its regional operations, Burjeel Holdings reported a network of 20 hospitals and 44 medical centres as of June 30, 2026.

The ‘Outstanding Healthcare Group’ award at the TAS Oman Business Awards recognises Burjeel Holdings’ broader contribution to healthcare, including its focus on clinical expertise, patient care, specialised services and expanding access to advanced treatment.

The recognition follows another honour for the group at this year’s awards, with Burjeel Hospital also receiving the ‘Best Private Hospital’ award, highlighting the organisation’s presence and contribution to Oman’s private healthcare sector.

Burjeel Holdings was among the organisations and business leaders recognised at the fifth TAS Oman Business Awards, organised by The Arabian Stories (TAS) at IntercityHotel Muscat.

The fifth edition celebrated 25 winners across a range of sectors and was held under the patronage of HE Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Majlis Al Shura.
