AMMAN: According to the Jordanian News Agency (Petra), the spokesman said the armed forces responded to the missiles and successfully destroyed them before they could pose a threat to citizens or property.
He said the interception operations were carried out following precise operational assessments and in line with the national responsibility to protect the Kingdom’s airspace and ensure the safety of its citizens, in accordance with approved rules of engagement.
The spokesman added that the Jordanian Armed Forces, across all formations, continue to carry out their duties with the highest levels of readiness and professionalism.

He said the armed forces would take all necessary measures to protect the homeland, safeguard its sovereignty and maintain the Kingdom’s security and stability.
