Aarau: The shooting took place at the Schachen area in Aarau, where a rave party was being held at the city’s horse-racing track. According to Swiss media reports, the shots were fired shortly before 3 am on August 30.
Aargau Cantonal Police confirmed that several people had been affected, but authorities had not immediately released an official number of casualties or details about the severity of their injuries. There was also no confirmed information on possible fatalities.
