MUSCAT: The suspension, announced in coordination and cooperation with the relevant authorities, follows the deaths of Captain Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Kalbani and his sister in a paragliding accident in Dhofar Governorate.
In a statement, the OASC expressed its condolences over the deaths of Al Kalbani and his sister, describing the incident as tragic.
The suspension applies to all paragliding activities at authorised locations in Oman and will remain in effect until further notice.
