MADRID: The eclipse is expected to create a dramatic twilight-like scene as daylight fades, while large areas of Spain will experience totality.
However, meteorologists have warned that cloud cover could affect visibility in some locations and obscure the eclipse for observers.
Experts have urged the public not to look directly at the Sun without certified eclipse glasses, including during the partial phases of the eclipse, as doing so can cause permanent eye damage.
