KUWAIT : The Kuwaiti Ministry of Defence described the incident as an act of “Iranian aggression”, saying the drones were directed towards vital military installations. Falling debris caused material damage in some areas, but no casualties were reported.
The IRGC said the operation was carried out in response to a fresh wave of US strikes against Iranian targets on Thursday. Washington said its attacks struck dozens of Revolutionary Guard facilities following Tehran’s attempted missile attacks on American forces stationed in the Middle East.
Among the locations reportedly hit by the United States was a building on Iran’s Qeshm Island. Iranian authorities said a couple and their two-year-old child were killed in the strike.
