MUSCAT – The operation, carried out in cooperation with Sur Police Station, resulted in the seizure of 6,745 bags and packages of smokeless chewing tobacco and 47,227 packs of cigarettes that did not meet approved standards and specifications.
The Consumer Protection Authority said all seized products were confiscated, and legal procedures have been initiated against those responsible for the violations.
