Paul Ricard: Faisal, competing alongside British teammate Ben Tuck in a Ferrari 296 GT3 EVO, delivered an impressive performance in the second stop of his GT World Open Championship campaign. The Omani Al Manar Racing Dragon team is taking part in three rounds of the championship this season, with technical cooperation from the Dragon team.

In the first race at Circuit Paul Ricard, Faisal and Tuck started from second on the grid and maintained their strong pace to secure second place in the overall standings.

The team also produced a solid recovery drive in the second race, moving from 12th on the starting grid to finish fifth. The result saw them gain seven places while competing against leading drivers and manufacturers in the championship.

Al Manar Racing Dragon will conclude its GT World Open participation at Italy’s Monza circuit, which will host one of the season’s rounds from September 25 to 27.

“This round was positive, and we should be proud of what we achieved after the Misano round when we struggled a bit,” Faisal said. “To start from second place and achieve the same result in the race was fantastic. The car was competitive, and there are many positives that we benefited from and lessons that we learned heading into the Monza round where the races will be longer.”
