BEIRUT : The advisory comes as security concerns continue to grow across parts of the Middle East. In its latest statement, the US Embassy in Beirut said the security situation remains uncertain and warned that developments could escalate without warning.
“Due to high tensions in the Middle East, the security environment remains complex with the potential for unforeseen escalation,” the embassy said.
The embassy has advised US citizens not to travel to Lebanon at this time and to carefully reconsider any travel plans involving the region.
