Tehran: According to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency, the IRGC called on countries hosting US forces to activate their civil defence units and protect civilians by moving them away from potential military targets.

The IRGC said the territories of these countries were being used as launchpads for aggression against Iran, warning that any such role would invite a direct response.

In the same report, the IRGC Ground Forces claimed they had used drones and missiles to strike a US military logistics hub at Camp Arifjan in Kuwait. The group also claimed the attack caused casualties among personnel stationed at the facility.

The IRGC further said it had targeted the US Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, claiming to have disabled radar systems at the site. It also claimed that a weapons maintenance hangar and a drone facility were hit and destroyed during the operation.
