TEHRAN : The Tasnim news agency, citing the Iranian army, said the strikes targeted facilities at the base near the city of Iranshahr, with 13 missiles hitting hospitality areas, guard posts and accommodation facilities.
The Iranian army said the attacks were carried out with the aim of causing the highest possible number of casualties, adding that several soldiers were also wounded in the strikes.
