Muscat: The Omani duo of Ahmed Al Hosani and Mazen Al Hashemi delivered a strong performance to defeat Qatar 21-16, 21-19, sealing one of the two available qualifying spots for the Asian finals.
Coached by Bader Al Subhi, the national team showed composure and determination throughout the match, particularly in the second set, where they held firm under pressure to complete the win.
Oman will conclude its campaign in the qualifiers tomorrow against Lebanon, who also booked their place in the Asian Championship after defeating Qatar in straight sets.
